I would like to see NoRedInk allow inputting grades into PowerSchool, Google Classroom, or other LMS. The Guided Drafts also include attached rubrics making grading simple. I love that NoRedInk grades student grammar practices and compiles data by class, making it simple to view student strengths and weaknesses. Both features make writing simple and straight-forward for students at all levels in a classroom. If your account is using Clever for roster syncing, Clever-synced classes will appear automatically. Click on the class name to view class details and to add new students to the class. Youll find the classes you create appear in the left panel. Students are able to choose media, like Shrek or Diary of a Wimpy Kid, that interest them to be used in practice sentences to keep them engaged - they love it! In addition to the grammar practice, the Guided Drafts and pre-writing resources on NoRedInk have been invaluable. Click on the 'Add new class' button on the Manage Classes page to create a new class. Students can complete grammar/conventions practice after viewing a lesson at their own pace. I love that it can be used along with direct teacher instruction. My students can use NoRedInk with full independence. Their progress is reflected in their state test scores after using NoRedInk regularly throughout the school year in combination with a reading/writing curriculum. My students have shown significant improvement in spelling and punctuation in their writing using NoRedInk.
